The MTA Song (see video below)
Let me tell you a story of a man named Charlie,
On a fatefull and tragic day,
He put a dime in his pocket, kissed his wife and family.
And went to work for the BS of A.
Chorus
And did he ever return?
No, he never returned!
And his fate is still unknown (poor Charlie!)
He may work forever at the big adventure
He's the man who never returned.
He turned in his contract at the Worth Ranch office,
Saying he'll work for a month or two,
But when the camp director said,
"You'll work at Camp Leonard,"
Charlie said, "To hell with you."
All summer long Charlie worked at the hammer
Crying, "What will hecone of me?
How can I afford to keep a wife in Fort Worth,
And a mistress in Granburee?"
All night and all day Charlie worked in the kitchen
For that Camp Director Fink.
But as fast as he could wash they would pile on the dishes,
Charlie couldn't get out of that sink.
One day Charlie went down to the bottom
And he took the river freeway.
Three vehicles collided and the pieces went flying.
Twas the work of the BS of A.
